These terms and conditions we outline the usage of the site and the data driven behind it.
We host the car checking service on the website (www.checkcardetails.co.uk) to provide an effective service to you (the user of the site).
Changes to the websiteWe may adjust or make changes to the website to make the user experience as best as possible.
We may need to update the site to address any security threat, which will not affect the use of this site.
Providing you with vehicle checksYou must be 16 or over to use this site when purchasing a check. You will need to search for a vehicle and choose either the basic or the full report. We will then ask for your email address, first name and last name when making payment. Once you have paid for your check, we will validate the vehicle registration number and will charge you once we have succefully recieved information from our data supplier.
You will then be taken to a report and you will recieve an email with a link to your report which will be available for 10 days, after which your name and email address, as well as the report will be deleted.
When we recieve payment for vehicle checks, we will provide you with a report and an email with a link to the report as soon as possible.
We will not be responsible for any delays outside of our control. If the supply of data from our third party trusted sources is delayed, we will contact you via email as soon as possible.
In the event you have entered the wrong email address when making payment, no email will be delievered and we cannot be responsible for any loss of information and you will still be charged.
Any payments which have been made by accident, such has purchasing a vehicle report twice for the same registration number cannot be refunded.
You may contact us via the form on the support link to gain help but we offer no guarantees in providing you with your report with incorrect email addresses.
In any event of an issue whereby a report cannot be shown to you, either from our application or from the data source, we will issue a refund via our support pages. Visit https://www.checkcardetails.co.uk/navigate/support to log your request with the vehicle registration number and your name and email address.
In the event you have been served an error page, contact the support team using the support link and we will endevour to assit you.
Data is provided by third party who have data available to them. This may not be the latest update as given by DVLA or financial sources.
No refund/credit will be given if the expectation is to see photos in a write off, this is only available if a vehicle has been salvaged.
Buying/Redeeming Full Report Multi ChecksMulti checks can be purchased by clicking on the "Buy/Redeem Multi Checks" which will give you credit to redeem 3 Full Checks. The initial payment will count as your first check. To purchase a Multi Check, simply perform a vehicle registration search and click on "Buy/Redeem Multi Checks". You will be taken to a log in/sign up page. Please register if you have never signed up with this site before.
Once you have successfully signed up, you will be taken to your payment page. Once you purchase your report, you will be directed to your full check report.
You will recieve an email with the report link as well as the remaining number of checks on your account. This can also be checked by clicking on "My Account", with a list of your previous checks.
To redeem a check for another vehicle, you can click on "My Account", log in and then perform a vehicle registration search. Click on "Buy/Redeem Multi Checks" which will direct you to a payment page with a button to Redeem you check. This will take another check from your remaining credit balance.
No refund/credit will be provided for multi checks made for the same vehicle registration number. The same terms and conditions apply as above per section "Providing you with vehicle checks".

Our LiabilityThe site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to the accuracy of the data. The data driven behind the site is sourced from trusted third party suppliers who have assurances for the quality of data. We are not responsible for any unforseeable losses by you personally or to any businesses, including any injuries or death.
LawThe information contained on, and your use of, this website and these Conditions of Use shall be governed by English law, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to any matter arising under or in connection with your use of this website or its contents.
Salvage HistorySalvage History is available via a partnership with a third party data provider. If a vehicle has been sent to a salvage auction site, the vehicle will noted with Salvage History in the report. Photos are available with Salvage reports only. If a vehicle is a write off and not sent to auction, no pictures will be available and you will not be liable for a refund.
